I’m an international student. Will international student fees be covered?

I’m a master’s student. Will my tuition and university required fees be covered?

How many semester credit hours (SCH) must I be registered for to qualify to have my tuition and required fees covered?

Will my tuition and required fees be covered for all my enrolled credit hours?

Is differential tuition included?

I’m employed as a GANT in a non-academic unit. Do I qualify to have my resident tuition and required fees paid?

I’m an international student. Will international student fees be covered?

Students will still be responsible for covering any international student fees such as the administrative fee charged to third-party sponsored students, the ISS semester fee, and the international student insurance fee.

I’m a master’s student. Will my tuition and university required fees be covered?

The payment of resident tuition and required fees for master’s graduate assistants will be determined by the employing unit or faculty on a student- by- student basis

How many semester credit hours (SCH) must I be registered for to qualify to have my tuition and required fees covered?

Full-time registration is required for graduate assistantships. See the Graduate Assistant Enrollment Requirements page for details.

Will my tuition and required fees be covered for all my enrolled credit hours?

Resident tuition and required fees as defined on the OGAPS tuition and fee payment website will be paid for full-time enrollment. See the Graduate Assistant Enrollment Requirements page for details on full-time enrollment. Additional funding for hours above the minimum full time enrollment is at the discretion of the employing department / college or faculty on a student- by- student basis.

Is differential tuition included?

Differential tuition impacts undergraduate students only and does not apply to graduate students or graduate assistants. 

I’m employed as a GANT in a non-academic unit. Do I qualify to have my resident tuition and required fees paid?

Payment of resident tuition and required fees for GANTs is at the discretion of the employing unit.

Where can I find the tuition and required fee rates?

Students can use the Texas A&M tuition calculator on the Student Business Services website to obtain an estimate of the tuition and required fees by each college. Billing explanations can also be found on the Student Business Services website.

What if my degree plan requires additional years of study?

Students should inquire directly with their employing department / college or home department / college regarding funding for years extending beyond those listed in the mandate. 

I’m enrolled in distance course(s). Will my distance fees be covered?

Students will be responsible for any distance course / program fees. Reference the OGAPS tuition and fees payments website to see University and College fees defined.
