WHAT IS G.R.A.D. AGGIES?
Several Texas A&M offices joined forces to provide support by offering professional development opportunities including workshops, seminars, training events and online resources. G.R.A.D. Aggies helps students engage in activities and resources to better prepare them for professional life after graduate school. The G.R.A.D. Aggies program is organized into four areas: Academic Development, Leadership and Communication Development, Instruction and Assessment and Career Development.

Interested in Participating in the G.R.A.D Aggies Certificate Program?
Preparing research proposals, abstracts and conference posters; seeking publication and degree completion; developing life skills including stress management, support networks, financial management, etc.
Leadership & Communication Development
Improving skills in oral and written communication, collaboration, self-awareness and mentoring; understanding diversity and the demands of a global workforce.
Instruction & Assessment
Enhancing knowledge in areas including course design and delivery methods, assessing learning and reflecting on practice; Engaging in teaching opportunities beyond initial teaching experience.
Expanding career path knowledge and job search skills; improving networking and marketability; developing entrepreneurial skills; enhancing professionalism. Career paths are identified along two dimensions:
- Within academia
- Outside academia in government, industry/business or non-profit
