What is included in “required university and college fees”?

It is dependent on the home college of the student. Fees included in the “university fees” category and “college fees” category are defined below for TAMU Colleges, TAMU HSC colleges and TAMUG.

The definitions reflect the required university and college fees applicable in the 2019-2020 academic year. Any new required university or college fees in future academic years fall under the requirements in the mandate.

Texas A&M University Colleges with Ph.D. Programs

[Agriculture & Life Sciences, Architecture, Mays Business School, Education & Human Development, Engineering, Geosciences, Liberal Arts, Science, Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences]

• Required University Fees:
  • University Advancement Fee, Health Center, Student Center Complex, and Student Recreation Center.
• Required College Fees:
  • College Advancement Fees for all colleges except Engineering and the Biological and Agricultural Engineering [BAEN] program
  • Program Fees for College of Architecture, College of Engineering, and BAEN program.

Texas A&M University Health Science Center Colleges with Ph.D. Programs

[Dentistry, Medicine, Pharmacy, School of Public Health]

• Required University Fees
  • University Advancement Fee, Health Center, Student Center Complex, Student Recreation Center, and Transportation.
• Required College Fees
  • Program Fees for the School of Public Health
  • Instructional Enhancement and Medical Liability Fees for the College of Dentistry.

Texas A&M University at Galveston

• Required University Fees
  • University Advancement Fee, Student Center Complex, and student Recreation Center
  • Required College Fees: None
